Robert Eugene Perry

With loving family next to his bedside Robert Eugene Perry, 87, of Okmulgee left his earthly home Thursday, March 16th, 2017 at Fountain View Manor in Henryetta, Oklahoma.

Robert was born in Okmulgee, OK on April 16, 1929, the youngest child of the late Nellie and Elmer Perry. Until the last two years of Robert's life he lived at 1222 North Collins, the same house in which he was born.

Robert and Mary Lou (Gower) Perry were married June 25, 1955 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Mary Lou preceded Robert in 2008 after 53 years of marriage. He retired from Public Service Company as the operator of a digger truck. He loved to fish and was a very good angler. When "Bob" was not watching the Dallas Cowboys or Wheel of Fortune on TV he was gardening or helping out friends and family.

Robert will be greatly missed by daughters, Teresa Klein, of Broken Arrow, OK; Barbara Kay Moore, of Tulsa, OK; Cindy Lou Mace, of Farmington, NM. a son, Clifford Eugene (wife Carmen) Perry, of Morris, OK; Also left to remember Robert are 10 grandchildren: Julie Howard, Candace Bahr, Janna Moore, Jennifer Moore, Beth Mace, Rocky Mace, Bobby Michael Estep, Katie Jo Owens, Darbi Perry, and Regena Dawn Perry, and nine great grandchildren, 1 great -great grandson, and dear niece Carolyn Sue Gannaway.

Preceding Robert were his parents, all his siblings, his wife, Mary Lou, and son Robert Michael Perry.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 19th 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Schaudt Okmulgee Funeral Home, 220 S. Alabama, Okmulgee. Funeral Service will be Monday, March 20, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Schaudt Okmulgee Chapel. Following the service interment will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery, Okmulgee, Oklahoma
