Robert Barnett

Robert Eugene Barnett turned 90 on December 21st, 2024. He lived in Glenpool, Oklahoma. He passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 25th, 2024, after a 5-day battle of COVID and other aging complications.

He was born in West Plains, Missouri and grew up there and in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Robert was a paratrooper in the United States Army. Part of 82nd Air Born during the Korean Conflict. He then became a Brick Mason by trade and built Rumford Fireplaces up until he had a massive stroke in October of 1983.

Robert had three children, Robyn Gene Tittle of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Noel William Barnett of Oswego, New York, and Jerry Wayne Barnett of Tulsa, Oklahoma. After his stroke he resided with his daughter and first Son-In-Law, Mike Manasco until 1989. There after he lived with his daughter and current Son-In-Law, Eddie Tittle until he was moved to Grace Skilled Nursing for the last four months of his life.

He lived a long, full life enjoying all his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as they grew up! He was adored by many in the community and was known by all as "Pappy".

He is survived by his three children, Robyn and Eddie Tittle of Glenpool, OK, Noel Barnett of Oswego, NY, and Jerry Barnett of Tulsa, Ok. Seven grandchildren, Nick Manasco of Hulbert, Ok, Lora Yadon of Bentonville, AR, Jenny Smith of Glenpool, OK, Taylor Garrison of Glenpool, OK, Aaron Barnett of Oswego, NY, Natalie Barnett of Bar Harbor, ME, Traci Mitchell of Stroud, OK, Sixteen great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and many adoring nieces and nephews.

He will be placed to rest at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in honor of his Military Service.
