Rita Faye Dodson

Rita Faye Dodson passed to her heavenly home at age 64, on March 16, 2019. She was born September 13, 1954 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Betty J. (Black) Carter. Survivors include: her husband Kelvin; father, Robert L. Carter; three younger brothers, Bob, Randy, and Chad; three children, daughter, Tami, and her husband Jimi, and two sons, Scott and Ryan; two grandchildren, James and Jolynn; three great-grandchildren, James David Jr., Kayla, and Charlotte; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many lifelong friends.

She loved family more than anything, and always put them first in her life. she was a very loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend of many. She loved painting and crafts, interior decorating, and was very talented in everything she did. There was never a task too big for her to accomplish!

We welcome all friends and family to come join us to celebrate the life of a special woman who touched us all in a very special way. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at the Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel.
