Richard Lloyd Romans passed away, Sunday, November 8, 2015 in Tulsa at the age of 71, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Rick was born April 17, 1944 in Tulsa to Gleason and Florene Romans.
He graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1962, attended Oklahoma Military Academy and Spartan School of Aeronautics. Rick worked in the aviation industry for many years prior to founding Rick Romans, Inc in 1983, an aircraft engine repair service in Tulsa.
He met his wife and soul mate of 32 years, Linda in the Tulsa Vette Set Club in the 70's. Rick owned and raced numerous corvettes throughout the years. He enjoyed tournament water and snow skiing and loved working on his land.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife and the love of his life: Linda; brother, Gleason Romans; sisters: Janie Romans and Suzie Livergood; and numerous four-legged children. He loved his three nieces and nephew and enjoyed spending family time with his two brother-in-laws, Bobby and Mike.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service and a funeral will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 13, 2015 at Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service Chapel.
