Richard Gambler

The visitation will be held on from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Schaudt’s Okmulgee Funeral Service. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 24, 2020, at Schaudt’s Okmulgee Funeral Service.

Richard Gambler, Jr. (Sonny Boy, Boy, Boydski) passed into eternity on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at the age of 61.

He was born to the family of Richard Gambler, Sr. and Elouise Bruner Gambler on March 21, 1958, in Tulsa County. He worked for Midtown Electric Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma for many years as an apprentice. He loved watching OU, OKC Thunder, golf and playing horseshoes. He was a member of Middle Creek Baptist Church #1. Richard was also a graduate of Okmulgee High School.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents Richard Gambler, Sr. and Elouise Bruner Gambler and sister Marcia Ghodadi.

Although he is no longer with us, his memory and legacy will be kept alive through the family and friends he leaves behind which include spouse, Thomasine Long of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, two sisters; Rita Gambler of Mounds, Oklahoma and Carol Cooper of Stillwater, Oklahoma. One brother; Wade Gambler of Mounds, Oklahoma and one stepbrother Tony Brown of Okmulgee, Oklahoma. As well as good friend Morris Hancock of Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
