His love for cars did not end at the end of a workday, Dick was also a proud member of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA). He enjoyed spending hours at the Tulsa Raceway Park, and working on his Chevy Nova and Super Comp dragster. He has many trophies to show for his time, dedication and love for the sport. If Dick was not working on cars, he enjoyed camping in the quiet and serenity of the outdoors. As Cope Director of the 127 Boy Scouts Troop, he was known as Mr. Wilson, and led the boys on many adventures. His biggest love was his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
