Rhonda Marie Cole

A Celebration of Life will be held remembering the life of Rhonda Marie (Kleman) Cole on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 12:30 PM at Schaudt’s Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel. Rhonda passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 with her family by her side. She was 60.

Rhonda was born February 16, 1958 in Tulia, Texas. She was the daughter of Etta Mae (Heiman) Kleman Sellers and Paul Anthony Kleman. Early in her childhood, Rhonda and her family moved to Vian, Oklahoma where she grew up.

She was a 1976 graduate of Vian High School. She went on to receive her associates degree from Tulsa Community College.

Rhonda was always proud of the hard work she accomplished. She was the manager of a Pizza Hut, a lead teacher at the Ave Maria House, a CLEET certified security guard for some of the biggest names to visit Tulsa and then became the Activities Director for an Alzheimer’s unit. Rhonda retired and followed her children as they pursued their dreams in Orlando and Houston. She made her way back to Tulsa to complete her very favorite job, being a grandma, or “nanny” as her grandchildren knew her.

Rhonda enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and her dog, Memphis. Family and friends were the core of Rhonda's heart. She always had an open door to anyone in need. She loved fiercely, was loyal and had the most generous heart. Rhonda was a strong woman who fought through life with a smile on her face. She loved to laugh, loved to dance, and loved estate sales. Everyone will miss her text message check-ins, her hilarious spirit, and her fight.

She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Kleman; step father, William Sellers; brothers, Dwight, Darrell, and Bruce Kleman, Carl Sellers and her sister, Nadine Sellers.

Survivors include her dog Memphis, daughter, Shawnda (Cole) Adams and her husband, Mathew; son, Jack Burris and his fiancé, Sarah McGunegill; mother, Etta Mae (Heiman) Kleman Sellers; sisters, Denise Kupiec, Sherry Sellers and Donna Sellers-Stewart; brothers, Craig Kleman and his wife, Donna, Jeff Kleman and his wife, Lynn, Dale Kleman and his wife, Joyce, Danny Sellers and Garry Sellers; grandsons, Jackson, Christian, Grayson and James Adams. She leaves behind friends who became family members, Patrick Walker, Justin Barnett and Shelia Tate. She will also be missed by dozens of nieces and nephews.
