Rhonda Lynn Starr

Rhonda Lynn Starr, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the age of 51. She was born Tuesday, December 16, 1958 to Joshua and Jennie Mae (Kelly) Starr in Checotah, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Jeanie and Karen Starr, Helen Butler and Betty Scott. Survivors include her children, Crystal Dawn Starr and Nathaniel Adam Starr; sister, Darlene Stratton; brother, David Butler and grandchildren, Skylar Aaron Starr and Makayla Dawn Starr. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 19th at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Wake Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 19th at the Tallahassee Indian Methodist Church and Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 20th at the church. Burial will follow the service at the New Sonora Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
