Rhett Wilburn

Rhett Henry Wilburn, 55, of Glenpool, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at his residence.

Rhett was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on December 19, 1961, to Ray Henry Wilburn and the late Barbara Nell (Alexander) Wilburn.

Rhett was a Jenks High School graduate. After high school graduation, he graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Business and then obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa. Rhett practiced civil law with the Wilburn & Masterson Law Firm for many years. He spent many family vacations skiing as a child and continued to enjoy it as an adult. His other past times included spending time outdoors fishing and camping with his boys, He was also an avid rock climber and jet skier.

Rhett is preceded in death by his mother; Barbara Nell (Alexander) Wilburn.

He is survived by his companion; Alie Schroeder, father; Raymond Henry Wilburn, siblings; Rodney Frank Wilburn and Amber Rae Wilburn, children; Austin, Tanner, and Alexander Wilburn, and other loving family and friends.


Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM on Friday, April 21, 2017, at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care Centers, 719 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma 74033.
