Rev. Robert Lee Elkins

Reverend Robert Lee Elkins passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the age of 68. He was born October 1, 1946 to Tony and Anna (Carson) Elkins in Russellville, Arkansas. Bob was a retired minister and retail manager.

Bob graduated from Skiatook High School in Skiatook, Oklahoma. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He married the love of his life, Rebecca and together raised their family. Bob was dedicated to preaching the Gospel and leading people to the Lord.

Bob was an avid fisherman and went fishing as often as he could. Bob had a special love for music and was an accomplished guitar player. He also worked and retired from Dollar General as a Manager and Central Training Manager. He devoted his life to the Lord, his wife and his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Anna Elkins, his sisters, Ruby "Ebb", Ella Mae, Alice and Doris.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Elkins, his daughter, Kedra Bale and her husband, Noah, his son Kenny Lollis and his wife, Jenifer, his daughter Jennifer Sauls, his son Aaron Elkins, his son Andrew Elkins and his wife Hannah, eight grandchildren, Steven, Courtney, Daniel, Lynmarie, Paige, Luke, Demitri, Coralai, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family member and friends.

Visitation is 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2015 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service at 719 East 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Pastor Brent Crawford will officiate. Interment will be at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, 1423 Cemetery Road, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
