Rev. Chin Do Kham

Rev. Dr. Chin Do Kham age 54 passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 in his hotel room in Laurel, Maryland.

Chin Do Kham was born March 19, 1959 in Saipimual, Chin State, Myanmar (formerly known as Burma) to Lam Za Gin and Cing Za Dim. He was raised in Myanmar and has lived many places around the world, including Singapore, South Korea, the Philippines and Chicago, Illinois before returning to Tulsa, OK in 2006. Rev. Dr. Chin Do Kham earned a Doctor of Ministry from Oral Roberts University in 1994 and a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies from Trinity International University in 1998. During his life he traveled to 37 different countries. Most recently, he ministered and served most recently as the Founder and President of Global Outreach and Community Development.

Chin Do Kham has served as President and Founder of Myanmar Living Water, General Secretary of Global Zomi Alliance, Church Health Consultant, Lead Pastor of Lighthouse of Hope Assembly, Missionary to the Philippines, Prayer Pastor at Community Gospel Church and Eastland Assembly Church, Youth Pastor of Grace A.G., and Adjunct Professor at Myanmar Evangelical Graduate School of Theology, Associate Professor of Graduate School of Theology at Global University, Professor and Director of M.A. Missions Program at Oral Roberts University, and Dean of students and Professor of Missions/Leadership at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lam Za Gin and Cing Za Dim, and five siblings, Cin Za Khual, Cin Ngaih Thang, Ciin Zen Cing, Gin Man Vung, and Tual Sian Pau.
He is survived by his wife, Siraporn Kham, and his two children, Mary Ching Kham and Joshua Gin Kham; his two sisters Niang Khaw Ciin and Niang Man Vung, and four brothers, Khaw Cin, Khual Za Nang, Vum Za Nang, and Khual Lam Mang.

Condolences Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2013 at Far East Mission Church, 5051 E. 101 Street Tulsa, OK 74137 and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, October 16-18, 2013 at NewSpring Family Church, 2907 W. 108th Place, South, Jenks, Oklahoma 74037.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made out to Zomi Innkuan USA.

Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013 with a funeral service to follow starting at 11:00 a.m. in the main sanctuary at Victory Christian Center, 7700 S. Lewis Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74136. Service will be officiated by Rev. Greg Ables, Rev. Dr. Cin Khaw Kham, Rev. Dr. Gin Khan Khual, Rev. Dr. Michael Gabbert and Bishop Parnell Lovelace, Jr.
