Renee Annette Drexler, born on September 9, 1961, in Shawano, WI, to Clarence and Dolores Stuewer, died on February 2, 2024, in Collinsville, OK. She is survived by her husband, Jeff, and her children, Will Drexler, and his fiancée, Emily Franklin, and Claire Drexler and Kyle Luther.
Renee grew up in Bonduel, Wisconsin and graduated high school there. She was an academic achiever, while excelling in various activities, playing the piano, and modeling.
Renee and Jeff exchanged vows in February of 1992 in Philomath, Oregon and from that moment on, their journey together was marked by love, companionship, and shared dreams.
Renee was a devoted mother, and her love for her children, Will and Claire, was evident in everything she did. She not only cared for her children but her extended family of Emily and Kyle as well.
Her love of gardening was a testament to her nurturing spirit - whether it be tending her flowers or her vegetables, which she cleverly intermixed. Renee found solace and joy in being outdoors, basking in the warmth of the sun, and having at least one dog by her side. In addition to her green thumb, Renee was an accomplished quilter and crocheter.
Renee's faith played a central role in her life; she was fulfilled by being a member of the Church. Touching the Recovery in the early 1990's she and Jeff have fellowshipped with the Local Churches in Corvallis, Atlanta, and Tulsa. Her spiritual journey with those in the body of Christ brought her comfort and peace.
Preceded by her parents, Renee is also survived by her siblings, Barb Brennan (Joe), Chris Pingel (Corvin), Robyn Moje (Rainer), along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Renee Drexler's impact on the lives of those around her was immeasurable, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and creativity. We hold the memories of a remarkable woman who touched our hearts and spirits in profound ways.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to: MD Anderson Cancer Center at www.gifts.mdanderson.org .
