Reccia Jo Mitchell

Reecia Jo Mitchell, age 79, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Hillcrest South Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Reecia was born in Duncan, Oklahoma on August 27, 1935 to Claude Whittington and Madonna (Edelman) Whittington. She graduated from Duncan High School with the Class of 1952. She loved painting, doing arts and crafts and having "tea parties". She lived for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked as a Right Away Agent and retired in 2010.
Reecia was preceded in death by her parents: Claude and Madonna Whittington and her husband, Bud Lee Mitchell (February 20, 2003).

She is survived by her children, Bart Lee Mitchell, Karla Kaye Wilson along with her seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, as well as many other family members, friends and acquaintances.

Visitation is Monday, February 9, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service, Glenpool, Oklahoma.

Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at City of Bixby Cemetery, Bixby, Oklahoma.
