In Loving Memory of Reba Dean White
Reba Dean White, affectionately known as "Nana," embarked on her journey to be reunited with Jesus, surrounded by the warmth of His love, on October 17, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a cherished wife, a dedicated teacher, and a loving soul who left an indelible mark on the lives she touched.
Reba's story of love began when she crossed paths with her future husband, Stan White, during her second year as a teacher at Kellyville Public Schools. Their love story unfolded beautifully, and they were married for 37.5 years in a heartfelt ceremony at the First Baptist Church in Mannford, Oklahoma, on June 20, 1986. Their union was one built on trust, affection, and shared dreams, which they nurtured together for nearly four decades.
Reba was a woman of many passions and joys. She had a deep love for the beauty of nature, dedicating her time to gardening and exploring the world. Her travels took her to the breathtaking Niagara Falls, where she marveled at the wonders of nature. The allure of Pensacola Beach, Florida's white sandy shores captivated her heart, and she spent countless hours basking in the serenity of the beach.
For Reba, family was everything. Her dedication to her loved ones was unwavering, and she held them close to her heart. Her kind-hearted spirit was a beacon of love and compassion for all those fortunate enough to know her. Her faith in Christ shone brightly, and her actions mirrored her beliefs, making her a true Christian in every sense.
Reba's profound impact on the lives of many extended beyond her family. Throughout her career as an elementary school teacher and high school librarian she touched countless hearts and inspired the minds of young learners in various schools, including Kellyville, Graham, Wilson, Mounds, Chouteau, Lincoln Christian, Beggs and Kiefer Oklahoma. Her lifelong commitment to education led her to her well-deserved retirement from Kiefer Public Schools, leaving behind a legacy of knowledge, kindness, and nurturing that will endure for generations.
Reba's memory lives on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those she taught. She leaves behind a rich tapestry of love, faith, and devotion that will forever remind us of the beautiful person she was. Though her earthly journey has come to an end, her spirit lives on in the lives she touched, and she has undoubtedly gone to have a joyous reunion with the Lord, leaving a legacy of love and faith for all to remember.
