Raymond Gene Tolbert age 61 passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Raymond was born February 12, 1951 in Breckenridge, Texas to Leonard and Glenna (Guill) Tolbert. He worked in the construction field as a painter. Raymond loved football. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy's fan. He loved to fish and he loved his remote control for watching television and listening to music. He enjoyed taking road trips to Texas - he was a proud "Texan". Most of all, he enjoyed his grandchildren and being called "Popo". Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of twenty-four years, Deborah Tolbert. He is survived by his children, Shadd Tolbert of Haltom City, Texas, Dennis Tolbert of Euless, Texas, Deborah Childress and her husband, Bradly of Sapulpa, Melissa Hall and her husband, Adam of Sapulpa, his brother in law, Bobby Gilbert and his wife Wendy of Tuttle, OK; his grandchildren, Kimberly, Benjamin, Hailey, Kacie, Angel, Matt, Kadens, Paige, Loagan, Phillip, Evan, Landon, his brother, Leonard Tolbert of Brownsville, Texas, his niece, Staci Tolbert and her children, Tanna and Jesse, his nephew Scott Tolbert his wife, Pamela Moler along with other family members, friends and acquaintances. Memorial services will take place 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Childress' family residence in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
