Raymond Elvin Penn, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at the age of 92. He was born February 5, 1922 to William and Nola (Robertson) Penn in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army during WWII and the Korean War. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Okmulgee and the Okmulgee Masonic Lodge 199. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nola Penn and brother, Jim Penn. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Juanita Penn of the home; two sons, Raymond M. Penn and James P. Penn, both of Okmulgee; one sister, Norma Jean Patterson; one granddaughter, Shanna Robinson and numerous other relatives and friends. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Okmulgee Cemetery with Pastor Steve Gallagher officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee. Military Honors will be conducted by the VFW Post 1189 Okmulgee.
