Raymond Charles Parsons

Raymond Charles Parsons, 68, of Beggs, OK passed away Sunday, September 17th, at his residence.

He was the widower of Barbara (Sims). They were married in Tulsa on August 2, 1968.

Raymond was born in Kingfisher, OK on July 4, 1949, a son of the late Florence Pearl (Nunn) and Wiley William Parsons.

Ray enjoyed noodling, camping, family time, going to the lake, spending time with friends, and woodworking.

He served in the U.S. Marines as a SGT during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Roofer.

Raymond is survived by two daughters, Marci Ray, of Beggs, OK and Yvette Bonham, of Beggs, OK; Raymond is also survived by a brother, Wayne, husband of Susan Parsons, of Tulsa.

He is also survived by 4 granddaughters, 2 great granddaughters, 1 great grandson; many nieces, nephews, and so many family and friends who loved him and will miss him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara; brother, Bill; grand-daughter, Amber; and a great-granddaughter.

A gathering celebrating Ray’s life will be held 11:00 am October 28, 2017 at his home, 10170 Birch Lane Drive Beggs, OK.
