Ray Burk

Ray Burk age 74 passed away peacefully on Friday, September 10, 2010 at Cimarron Pointe Care Center in Mannford, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family members.
Ray was born March 4, 1936 in Morrison, Oklahoma to Glen and Fanetta (Hamm) Burk. He attended Jennings High School. On December 31, 1965 he married Linda Larelle. Ray worked as a truck driver for Mid-Continent Concrete Company and retired in 2000. Ray enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. Ray was preceded in death by his parents: Glen and Fanetta Burk, one sister and one brother.
He is survived by his wife: Linda Larelle Burk of Sand Springs; his three daughters: Andrea Fisher and her husband, Bill of Sand Springs; Tamra Brook and her husband, Harley of Tulsa; Patty Buchanan of Cleveland; his sister: Dorothy Thompson of Coffeyville, Kansas along with seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren other family members, friends and acquaintances.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel. Reverend Scott Gordon will officiate.
