Ralph Delo Cercy II of Bixby, Oklahoma passed away on March 17, 2015. He was born in Lubbock, Texas on August 7, 1951 to Ralph D. Sr. and Alice Cercy.
He graduated from Monterey High School (Lubbock, Texas) in 1969. Ralph loved playing basketball, and even held many high school records for “Top 20 Scorers”. In 1975 Ralph graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Ralph was an active member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity where he gained many life long friends. He followed his alma mater, frequently attending games and cheering on his beloved Red Raiders from home.
Ralph was the patriarch and centerpiece of his family. He married the love of his life, Karen (Kluksdahl) Cercy on August 7, 1976. He always said his greatest accomplishments in life were his 3 beloved children and 4 precious grandchildren. He loved nothing more than spending quality time with his family, whether traveling, watching movies, telling stories, or sharing jokes.
Ralph was a very accomplished business man, and was instrumental in the success of multiple companies. He was most recently the driving force behind Power Service Company’s Oklahoma branch.
He was preceded in death by his sister Vicki Lynn Cercy of Pagosa Springs, CO; son Ralph Delo Cercy III “Trey” of Hot Springs, AR; father Ralph Delo Cercy Sr. of Bryant, AR; granddaughter Lauren Elise Hilsheimer of Tulsa, OK; mother, Alice Colleen Cercy of Bryant, AR; and brother Alan Paul “Hoby” Cercy of Lubbock, TX.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Karen of Bixby, OK; daughter Kirsten and husband Mark Hilsheimer of Jenks, OK; daughter Katie and husband Mitch Harney of Jenks, OK; the loves of his life, three grandchildren: Adam and Jake Hilsheimer and Andrew Harney; his sister Nancy and husband Sam Eary of Bryant, AR; his brother Tony and wife Caryl Cercy of Casper, WY; along with other family members, friends, and acquaintances.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Schaudt’s Glenpool Funeral Service in Glenpool, OK.
Services will be held at St. James United Methodist Church in Tulsa, OK at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 25, 2015.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Lauren Elise Memorial Foundation at www.ilovelauren.org, or PO Box 101, Jenks, OK 74037. LEMF was founded in honor of Ralph’s granddaughter and was an organization very dear to his heart.
