Raedelle Ridley Plummer

Raedelle Ridley Plummer was born December 7, 1929 in Gentry, Arkansas to Gratie Jewel and Hallie (Moore) Ridley. She passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 at Cedar Ridge Assisted Living in Tulsa. Her loving family was by her side. Raedelle graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1948. She married the love of her life, Alvin Dale Plummer on December 30, 1950 at the White City Baptist Church in Tulsa. Raedelle served the Lord for many years at White City Baptist which is now Braden Park Baptist Church. She absolutely loved children, caring for many over the years in her home. Raedelle was very artistically oriented. She was very good at decorating, baking, painting, and she was a very accomplished seamstress. She made many beautiful wedding dresses for family and friends throughout her lifetime.

Raedelle is survived by her husband of 63 years Alvin of Tulsa; her children Terri Collins and husband Dean of Tulsa, Marcy Gettys and husband Jeff of Tulsa, Sandy Easton and husband Wyn of Raleigh, North Carolina; grandchildren Ben Remke and wife Alana of Raleigh NC, Matt Remke and wife Michelle of Raleigh, NC, Kristen Gettys of Tulsa, Peter Gettys and wife Amanda of Tulsa; her sister Rosemary Craig, and her brother Lee Ridley, both of Tulsa.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday at the Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Darryl S. De Borde officiating. Reception will follow at Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
