Rabinora Nath Palit, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on December 14, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 78. Born on November 13, 1946, in India, Rabin lived a life defined by optimism, kindness, and a love for people. A man of many talents, he was instantly unforgettable-the kind of person who made you feel like his favorite from the very first meeting.

Rabin grew up in India, where he embraced adventure and hard work early in life. He traveled extensively across the country as part of his pharmaceutical sales career, fostering connections and friendships wherever he went. Beyond his professional success, Rabinora's love for the arts defined much of his life. He was a gifted actor, a natural performer who graced the stage with charisma and confidence. His passion for poetry and music further revealed his deep creativity and soulful spirit. He even had the distinction of appearing in a film in India.

In the United States, Rabin brought his entrepreneurial energy to life. He established a thriving digital printing business, but his true claim to fame was his expertise in Indian sweets, a craft he perfected with love. He brought joy to countless celebrations, most notably creating an unforgettable dessert for his daughter's wedding. His food was not just sustenance; it was an expression of his love and dedication to others.

Rabin often joked about language, saying, "People here speak American, but I speak English." His wit and humor were matched only by his intellect. He was fluent in English and five Indian languages, a testament to his pride in his heritage and his ability to connect with others across cultures.

Rabin is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Alpana Palit; his children, Somen (Brenda) Palit, Soven (Jessica) Palit, and Shreela (Timesh) Palit Vishudanand; and his treasured grandchildren, Asha and Priya Palit. He is also survived by his brother Rathin Palit and his family. Rabin was preceded in death by his brother, Athin Palit.
