Phyllis Lou Walters

Phyllis L. Walters, 76, died Monday evening, July 9, 2018, with family by her side. She was born on September 21, 1941 in Eufaula, OK to her parents, Ardell Phelps and Beaulah (Parker) Phelps. She met the love of her life, David Walters, and they were married in Muskogee in 1959. She worked as a Real Estate Agent. Phyllis enjoyed sewing, quilting, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very active in her church, Brookside Baptist Church, as well as enjoyed her time and fellowship with the Central Park Garden Club.

She is preceded in death by Ardell Phelps (Father), Beaulah Phelps (Mother), Delbert Phelps (Brother), and David Walters (Husband). She leaves many loving memories with her family, Ron Walters (Son) and wife Lori, Paige Ruark (Daughter) and husband Glen, Tim Walters (Son) and wife Kim, Donna Pierce (Sister) and husband Eugene, Connie Vickroy (Sister) and husband Dennis, Mark Phelps (Brother), Brandy Shepherd (Grandchild) and husband Kent, Ryan Walters (Grandson), Brooke Walters (Granddaughter), Hance Walters (Grandson), Colby Cook (Grandson) and wife Laura, Cason Thompson (Grandson), Trevor Shepherd (Great-grandson), Tanner Shepherd (Great-grandson), Kendyl Shepherd (Great-granddaughter), Ella Shepherd (Great-granddaughter), Ava Cook (Great-granddaughter), Maxwell Cook (Great-grandson), as well as many other loving family members and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Brookside Church. Family requests memorials be made to Brookside Church either online, https://www.tulsabrookside.church/give, or by mail, 3615 South Peoria, Tulsa, OK 74105.
