Phyllis Jean Givens

Phyllis Givens, of Tulsa, Ok., loving mother, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2016. Phyllis was a long time member of Asbury United methodist Church, and volunteered in the Saint Francis Auxiliary for 30 years. She was working as a flight attendant in 1954 when she met her husband, Jack on a plane. They were married the next year, and for 54 more. Phyllis enjoyed her home at Montereau, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her many good friends.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband Jack Givens.

She is survived by her son, Blake Givens and his wife LaShelle, her daughter Renee Bennett and her husband Jim, five grandchildren, Darion Givens, Adrielle Givens, Ty Bennett and his wife Jessie, Chase Bennett, Taylor Bennett and his wife Tia, and three great-grandchildren, Makenzie, J.W. and Austin.

At her request, no public memorial service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, The family asks that gifts in honor of Phyllis be made to The Little Light House in Tulsa, Ok.
