Peter Reynolds Clarke, 55, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away in the early morning hours of Thursday, August 31st, 2017, with his loving family near. He was born September 13, 1961 in Madison, Wisconsin to Margery S. (Nelson) and Jerome R. Clarke. He attended La Follette High School, class of 1980 and was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. At the time of his passing, Peter was a dedicated employee at Spirit Aero Systems in Tulsa and a member of the Aircraft Mechanic Fraternal Association UAW Local 592 chapter.
Peter met the love of his life, Janet Elaine (Barnes) Clarke in 2000. The two were wed on December 22, 2002 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a true Green Bay Packers, and Wisconsin Badgers fan. He enjoyed attending the Depot golfing tournament with his friends, spending time at the lake house and smoking meat, especially ribs and bologna. Peter would never pass up an opportunity to arm wrestle anyone willing, usually to the dismay of his opponent! His big heart made him loved by many and feared by few. His family and friends ALL have a funny Peter story that will live on in infamy. He would like them told often so you laugh please, and thank you. Peter was always ready for a good time, loved a good road trip, especially to Wisconsin to visit his sons and their families. Peter remained very close with his brother and sisters, most recently spending a week together with them and other family members, in the Gulf Shores of Alabama. Peter, we will always be thankful for that last trip to celebrate you.
