Peter Charles Vuzzo born in Brooklyn, New York to Anna and James Vuzzo on March 15, 1944. He was the youngest and last remaining of three boys, his brothers, Vincent and Joe Vuzzo.
He passed away at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma on April 20, 2016.
He retired from America Airlines where he participated in the JC’s and other community events. He then went to work for both Erin and Marc Miller GMC. He always took such good care of his customers and the staff. Making everyone feel welcome and like family. His dedication to service really shined though. His family was most important to him, he found love and joy for 32 years with his wife, Phoebe and was always there for his children, Lisa and Stacie; his granddaughter, Lauren and her fiancé, Tyler; as well as his stepson, Bradley and his wife, Penny; as well as their many children and grandchildren, sharing many holidays and special occasions with the family brought him so much joy. He loved to entertain friends and had a sisterly bond with Janet King and her husband, Tom as they did so many things together for the past 35 years. In between they moved to Scottsdale, Arizona for a short time and back to Tulsa realizing how much those friends meant to him. Also friends, Wayne Muller and his wife, Debbie, who was more like a brother to him than a friend.
He loved his dogs, first Molly, then Max, Bobo and JR they brought him much comfort and joy.
He was the most wonderful, honest, dedicated loving man. A kind and generous person who treated people with respect regardless of their position in life. A loving and caring husband, a guiding light to his children and grandchildren and fantastic example of what a man should be.
He is survived by his wife, Phoebe Vuzzo and his daughters: Lisa Vuzzo and Stacie Vuzzo; stepson, Brad & daughter-in-law, Penny, granddaughter, Lauren Vuzzo and fiance, Tyler Renard. He will be missed by all those whose life he touched daily. We take solus in knowing that someday we will see him again.
