Pavel Antonovich Golimbievsky, resident of Mounds, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, March 1st 2016 after a long battle with cancer. He was born December 17th, 1960 in Peschanka, Ukraine, the son of Anton Golimbievsky and Maria (Kiliyanchik) Golimbievsky.
Following Pavel’s Russian military service, he met and married Olga Kovalenko on August 15th, 1982. Pavel moved his growing family to the United States in 1989, where he worked as a mechanic and industrial maintenance supervisor. As an avid hunter and fisherman, he loved the great outdoors, survival camping and teaching his children of the natural world. Pavel was a lover of humor, practical jokes and was rarely seen without a mischievous smile on his face. Pavel had an uncompromising faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, and lived this faith daily through the sacrifice and unconditional love he showed his friends and family.
Pavel was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Leonid Golimbievsky.
He is survived by his wife, Olga Golimbievsky and his children: Sergei Golimbievsky and wife, Olya; Alex Golimbievsky and wife, Maryana; Lilia Kharabora and husband, Alex; Oleg Golimbievsky and wife, Megan; Inna Schwartz and husband, Preston; Alisa Golimbievsky and Benjamin Golimbievsky; five grandchildren: Nikos Kharabora, Amelia Golimbievsky, Estella Kharabora, Lincoln Golimbievsky and Simon Kharabora.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, March 4, 2016 at Schaudt -Teel Funeral Service, Tulsa. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service Chapel, Tulsa.
