Paula Brown Partney

Paula Francis Partney, age 74 passed away peacefully on October 9, 2019 after a tough battle with ovarian cancer. Paula was born on January 27, 1945 in Delhi, Louisiana to Oma & Howard Brown. Paula grew up in Alexandria, Louisiana and Memphis, Tennessee and was a graduate of Treadwell High School in 1963.

Paula spent the majority of her career in the medical industry serving in various administrative support roles at Saint Francis Hospital and Laureate Hospital. In the early 1990’s Paula received her Management & Certified Nursing Assistant degree from Draughon College. In her free time she loved sewing, baking for her coworkers, attending flea markets and spending time at home with her dogs and husband, Ken.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents Howard & Oma Brown and her husband of 50 years Ken Partney. Paula is survived by her two children, Lisa Cyrier (husband, Greg) and Clayton Partney and her grandchildren Erin and Cooper Cyrier, all residing in Frisco, TX.

The family will have a private celebration of life for Paula. The family wishes to thank Physicians Choice Hospice and Brookdale Assisted Living for their care of Paula for the past few months. The family also wishes to thank Paula’s close friends Kari, Angela, Kay & Fonda who were so kind and helpful during her illness. Paula cherished her time spent with each of these women.
