A memorial service will be held honoring and remembering the life of Pattie LaVonne (Adams) Hill on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 3 pm at First Baptist Church; 209 S. Walnut St., Afton, OK 74331. She passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 with her family by her side. She was 57.

Pattie was born on September 25, 1960 in Nowata, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Alice (Worthington) Jenkins and Roy Adams.

She was a 1978 graduate from Delaware High School.

Pattie spent most of her adult life in Missouri but came back to her home state of Oklahoma in 2000.

On February 20, 1981, Pattie married Jim Hill. After his passing, she married Harold Gene Ellis on September 14, 2013.

Pattie loved to sing and dance to classical country music. Her and Gene loved to go out on the town and sing karaoke. She enjoyed spending time outside watching humming birds and butterflies flutter around. Pattie was known to be a great cook. She will be remembered for her fried chicken, fried potatoes, banana bread and blackberry cobbler. Pattie had a kind and compassionate heart who enjoyed not only caring for others but also baby animals. Her outgoing and fun personality made it easy to talk to anyone and she loved to make others smile.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Jim Hill; her second husband, Gene Ellis; mother, Alice (Worthington) Jenkins and brother, Jimmy Adams.

Survivors include three daughters, Alicia Coonce and her husband, Chris, Jaime Fish and her husband, Mike and Jamie Reyes; one granddaughter, Talon and three sisters, Jeanie, Carol and Lola.
