Patricia Jean Winchester, 83, of Tulsa, OK, passed away on August 27, 2024. Born on December 22, 1940, in Dayton, OH, to Ralph and Aline Seitz, Patricia lived a life marked by resilience, love, and devotion.
A graduate of Roosevelt High School in Dayton, OH, Class of 1958, Patricia went on to build a career as a manager in the hospitality industry, where her dedication and warmth left a lasting impression on colleagues and guests alike.
Patricia was a devoted mother of six, whose love for her family was the cornerstone of her life. In 1980, she moved to Oklahoma, where she spent many cherished years before relocating to Fort Myers, Florida, in 1999. She returned to Oklahoma in 2023, bringing with her a lifetime of memories and love.
A five-time cancer survivor, Patricia's strength and determination were truly inspirational. She was known for her childlike spirit and passion for singing, often belting out Patsy Cline tunes or old-fashioned hymns while doing dishes at her kitchen sink. Her beloved dog, Robo, was a constant companion, bringing her comfort and joy.
Patricia's kitchen was the heart of her home, where she delighted in preparing family meals, including her famous Jean marzetti, mandarin salad, and fudge. Her love for NASCAR, especially her admiration for Tony Stewart and the Daytona 500, was well known among family and friends. She also held a deep appreciation for Elvis Presley, Elizabeth Taylor, and the Kennedy family, particularly JFK and RFK.
