Patricia Ann Hinkel

Patricia Ann Hinkel died in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born March 23, 1936 to Caleb and Lillian (Wrighton) Cox. She married George Hinkel, Sr on March 18, 1983 in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Patsy retired from teaching college and high school after 40+ years. Patsy enjoyed movies, traveling, gardening, and learning. She was an avid reader and loved to paint. She loved the holidays with family and was a devoted parent, grandparent, and wife. She made many friends in many countries over the years and was adored in the education community.

She was preceded in death by parents, Caleb and Lillian; sister, Katie; and beloved husband, George.

Survivors include children Jamie Buckley and wife Shari Buckley; Dan Buckley and wife Shauna Brown; grandchildren James Buckley, Mary Ann McGuire, Colin Buckley, Corey Buckley, and Caitlyn Buckley; and great grand children Charleigh Ann Buckley, Connor Buckley, and Raelynn Ann Buckley; as well as many friends and colleagues.

Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11am at Faith United Methodist Church. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Patsy Hinkel to the Alzheimer's Association, online at alz.org.
