Opal Nell Renfrow-Millsap

Opal Nell (Pullen) Renfrow-Millsap, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the age of 98. She was born January 18, 1917 to Robert and Mary (Pirkey) Pullen in Weleetka, Oklahoma.
Opal had many hobbies including gardening, quilting, and cooking. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was active in the Friendly Neighbors club, the quilting clubs, Home Extension Club & Christian Woman’s Fellowship. She helped plant a tree at the Henryetta Medical Center in honor of the Homemakers of America.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Pullen; first husband, John Ervin Renfrow; second husband, Harley Millsap; infant sister, Eunice; sister, Ruth Bess and brother, Herbert Pullen.
Survivors include her children, Ruth Ann Thacker and husband, Jerry of Gold Canyon, AZ, Marilyn White and husband, David of Okmulgee, Linda Coyne of Kansas City, MO and John Stephen Renfrow and wife, Nancy of Jenks; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the First Christian Church in Henryetta 412 North 5th Street in Henryetta, OK. Burial will follow the service at the Wetumka Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Schaudt’s Okmulgee Funeral Service.
