Opal Mae Dunham age 88 passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Cedarcrest Nursing Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Opal was born September 4, 1925 in Springfield, MO to Andrew J. Hughes and Laura (Johns) Hughes. She owned The Opal Company and worked as a real estate broker for fifteen years in Glenpool, Oklahoma. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Opal was preceded in death by her parents: Andrew and Laura, her sons, Donnie West, Gary "Speedy" West, Jr., several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by daughters: Tauni West Oakley of Broken Arrow,
Dee Anna Snyder of Okmulgee, her grandchildren: Shae Biffinger, Michael Oakley, Brandy Snyder, Will Snyder, Madison Fox, Ginger Fox, Andrew West, her great grandchildren: Hudson Biffinger, Andi Snyder, Abbott Combs along with other family members and friends.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Schaudt's Funeral Chapel, 719 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Reverend Gary Volz will officiate.
