Ollie Jeanetta Essman

Ollie Jeanetta Essman, a resident of Dewar was born June 6, 1931 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Lue and James Holmes. She passed away October 23, 2009 at Dewar, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years 4 months and 17 days. She was married to Roy E. Essman Jr. at Carson City, NV on August 8, 1965. She was a LPN Nurse. Ollie was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Schulter Christian Assembly of God Church, the VFW Auxillary Post 539, American Legion Auxillary Post 85, DAV Auxillary Post 80. Ollie enjoyed traveling and fishing. She was preceded in death by parents; daughter, Dorothy; all her brothers and sisters; and a granddaughter, Latricia Fipps. Survived by her Husband, Roy E. Essman Jr., of the home; Daughter, Sheila Owen, Son, Floyd Massey, Son, Roy E. Essman III, 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, many other loving relatives and numerous friends. Viewing will be 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Tuesday. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Services will be held October 28, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Fort Gibson National Cemetery officiated by Notchie Twist.
