Olen Leroy Sanders

Olen LeRoy Sanders, age 74, passed away at his Okmulgee residence on Friday, February 12, 2016 with his loving family members by his side.

Olen was born April 1, 1941 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Jesse Sanders and Elizabeth Ruth (Dykes) Sanders. He graduated from Cromwell High School. He married Beverly Jean Davis in Sherman, Texas. Olen worked as a carpenter in the construction field. Some of his hobbies were gardening, shelling pecans and making furniture. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

Olen was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Elizabeth Sanders.

Olen is survived by his wife, Beverly Jean Sanders, his daughters, Tracy Lynn Damico and her husband, Reverend Jack Damico, Jennifer Sue Hernandez, his sons, Frederick George Weyermiller and wife, Dora Weyermiller, Michael Phillip Weyermiller, Joseph Allen Weyermiller, his sister Lela Badgett and her husband R. B. Badgett, his brothers, Floyd Sanders and his wife, Bertha, Lloyd Sanders and his wife, Patricia, Dale Sanders and his wife, Debra, his ten grandchildren, his ten great grandchildren along with other family members and friends.
