Norma Jean (Langston) McCoy age 80 passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2008 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Norma Jean was born September 4, 1928 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Robert Lee Langston and Myrtle (McIntyre) Langston. She attended schools in Wewoka, Oklahoma and lived in southern Louisiana before moving to the Tulsa area. Norma was a licensed practical nurse. In her spare time she enjoyed doing needle point work; taking care of her family's homes and making crafts for her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Myrtle Langston and her husband: Donald Eugene McCoy who passed away December 27, 1987.
Norman Jean is survived by her children: Gary Don McCoy and his wife, Sandra of Donaldsonville, Louisiana; her daughter: Donna Jean McCoy Wilkes and her husband, Paul of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her four grandchildren: Ginger Lee Wilkes, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Michael Paul Wilkes, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Craig Allen McCoy and his wife, Latitia McCoy of Thibodaux, Louisiana; Melissa Ann McCoy Coupel and her husband, Darrin of Belle Rose, Louisiana; her five great grandchildren: Melanie Lashaye McCoy, Morgan McCoy, Conner McCoy of Thibodaux, Louisiana, Meghan Michelle Coupel and Reed Coupel of Belle Rose, Louisiana.
Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Funeral Service in Glenpool, Oklahoma
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Ron Baker will officiate.
