Norma Jean Lamb

Norma "Jean" Lamb age 84 passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Hillcrest South Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jean was born October 19, 1927 in Clinton, Oklahoma to George Inman and Martha (Powell) Inman. She graduated from Clinton High School. On December 23, 1944 in Pecos, Texas she married Lloyd Lamb. Jean was a homemaker all her life. She was a great seamstress and made prayer shawls and baby hats that were distributed to area hospitals. Jean was also known for her wit. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Tulsa. Jean was preceded in death by her parent, George and Martha Inman, her loving husband, Lloyd Lamb, and her son, David Lamb. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Cox, her sons, Guy and Mark Lamb, her granddaughters, Krista Lamb, Jeanna Gray, Leah Lamb, Lacy Jane Lamb, her grandsons, Gary Gray, Jared Lamb, Carson Lamb, Brody Lamb, her great grandchildren, Jade McClaren, Melodee Laughlin, Cynthia Kishner, Caysi Gray, Hayden Gray, and Jovi Lamb. A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel, 719 East 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Reverend Katie Hill will officiate.
