Nolen Clay Hamilton

Nolen Clay Hamilton age 64 passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Nolen was born October 31, 1945 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Orley Clay Hamilton and Delora Ellen (Gregory) Hamilton. He graduated from Jenks High School with the Class of 1963. He lived in Birmingham, Alabama before moving to Glenpool, Oklahoma. He married Arlene Marie (Chapell) Hamilton on January 1963 in Joplin, Missouri. Nolen was employed by Glenpool Public Schools in the Transportation and Maintenance Department for eighteen years and retired in 2000. Nolan was very active in Glenpool Youth Sports for twenty years. He was a member of First Grace Church, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Nolen was preceded in death by his parents: Orley and Delora Hamilton; his wife: Arlene Marie Hamilton (February 16, 1999) and grandson: Jackson Israel.
He is survived by his sons: Wade Hamilton and his wife, Deana of Broken Arrow; Greg Hamilton and his wife, Stacy Hamilton of Glenpool; Mike Hamilton and his wife, Melodie of Manitoba, Canada; his brother: Dean Hamilton of Broken Arrow; his sister: Jane Martin and her husband, Jim of Jenks; his companion: DeWana Melton of Glenpool; daughter: Amanda Israel and husband, Keith; step-children: Joy Washington, Devin and Aron Melton; grandchildren: Bryan Hamilton, Tyler Hamilton, Eddie Neal, James Ferguson, Blaine, Jada, Eli (Moose), Shae, Casey, Blake, Kayla, Matthew, Chris, great grand child: Alexis Hamilton, special friend: Jeremy Meeks; nieces, nephews, other family members along with many friends and acquaintances.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at First Grace Church, Glenpool. Reverend Allen Gregory will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in care of Nolen Hamilton to Schaudt's Funeral Service.
