Niles Byron Finley, 83, of Broken Arrow died Tuesday, February 11 at his residence. Mr. Finley was born August 31, 1930 in Tuckerman, Arkansas. He worked for many years as head machinist for Woods Machine in Tulsa where he machined parts for heavy equipment and rigs. Mr. Finley also owned and operated Modern Manufacturing in Tulsa. He was a champion bass fisherman and an avid quail hunter. Some of his happiest times were fishing and hunting with his son. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Mr. Finley is survived by his wife Francis Jeanette Finley of the home; his children Niles and Lisa; grandchildren Erica and Haberly; great grandchildren Jonas and Desmond; his sister Saundra Johnston; and his brother Bill Finley.
Visitation is scheduled from 3-5 PM Monday at the Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service in Tulsa. A private interment will follow at Park Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow.
