Nancy Rueda

Nancy Ann Rueda, born December 21, 1956, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, entered eternal rest on February 23, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved daughter of Richard and Violet Minihan.

Nancy's life was a testament to love, strength, and generosity. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth that touched the lives of all who knew her. She was the cherished wife of John Rueda and a devoted mother to her children: Erica Marie Hays, Stacy Jo Minihan, and Kimberly Ann Minihan. Nancy's heart was always full of love for her grandchildren: Julian Lechuga, Jade Lechuga, Jaylynn Cain, Johnathon McCauley, Jenesis McCauley, and Josselin Minihan.

In addition to her immediate family, Nancy is survived by her siblings Brenda Lawless, Michael Minihan, Richard Minihan, and Laura Minihan. Though she is preceded in death by her son Darren Lee Minihan, sister Connie Roland, and her parents, their memories remain cherished in the hearts of those who knew Nancy.

Nancy was a remarkable woman, known for her strength, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She had a captivating spirit and a knack for making everyone around her feel comfortable and loved. Her laughter was infectious, and her presence lit up any room she entered.

She was a dedicated caregiver, always putting the needs of others before her own. Nancy was an exceptional cook, renowned for her delicious chicken noodles and empanadas, which even won the approval of her Colombian in-laws. Her grandchildren knew her as the world's best grandma, and she cherished every moment spent with them, baking sweet treats and creating lasting memories.

Nancy had a passion for life, enjoying camping trips, dancing, and dining at her favorite restaurant, Chimis. She shared a special bond with her husband, John, whom she loved deeply. Their relationship was a true partnership built on mutual respect, love, and laughter.

Though Nancy's physical presence may be gone, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and her unconditional love. Rest in peace, Nancy Ann Rueda, your legacy of love will never be forgotten.
