Nancy Fishel

Nancy Joanna (Winchell) Fishel passed away at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on September 30, 2014. Nancy was born August 10, 1963 to Charles and Carolie (Magill) Winchell in Upland, California. The family resided in Montclair, California through 1970; Alberton, Montana until 1976; and Humeston, Iowa through 1980. She attended Job Corps and then worked briefly in Des Moines, Iowa. In 1985 she relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma and married Gary Ray Fishel in 1991. They had one child, Gary Ray Fishel, Jr. Nancy worked side by side with her husband at GRF Capital Investments brokerage firm until Gary Sr. passed in May of 2011.

She was preceded in death by her mother and older sister, Julie Ann, and husband Gary Sr.

Nancy leaves behind her son, Gary Jr., two sisters, Rebecca Sponsler of Atlantic, Iowa, and Susan Winchell of Olatha, Kansas; her father: Charles Winchell of Caring Acres Nursing Home in Anita, IA; five nephews and a niece: Ben Sponsler and wife Ashley, Emily Sponsler, Brandon Shultz and wife Renee, Jonathan Shultz, Robert Shultz, Thomas Shultz and wife Holly; seven great nieces and nephews.

Nancy loved her dogs, reading, football, working in her yard and soaking up sunshine. But most of all, she loved her son and was so proud of him.
