Myra Mae Roach

Myra Mae Godbey Roach was born 19 June 1938 to Russell and Nova Godbey at Rock Haven, Kentucky which later become part of Ft Knox, Kentucky. Myra and Robert were married April 3, 1965. To this marriage were brought John Russell Odum of Alice Springs, Australia and Lynda Odum Mack of Owasso and Kelly D Roach deceased. To this new marriage came Jennifer Roach Knighten of Tulsa and Andrew D Roach of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. (Pronounced Gowshung)

Myra and Bob met when they were both employed at the Tulsa Air National Guard. Myra later was employed by the US Postal Service as a Rural Mail Carrier in Bixby where she retired.

Myra has eight grandchildren, Trisha Bolin, Herb Mack, Jacob Mack, Haley Roach, Kara Odum, Matthew Odum, Krista Roach, Drew Roach and three great grandchildren, Alyssa Neely, Korbyn Neely and Wyet Bolin.

Her family was the love of her life and she enjoyed genealogy as a hobby as well as primitives and antiques.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 4th, 2016 at the Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service in Tulsa.
