Mozelle Cross

Mozelle Shelton Cross age 87 passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Saint Francis Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mozella was born June 29, 1925 in Kerrville, Texas to Samuel Calvin Shelton and Jesse Lee (Boulware) Shelton. She graduated from Center Point High School. She married Dan Cross on December 16, 1951. Mozella was a homemaker and a member of Sonlight Chapel in Center Point, Texas. Mozella was preceded in death by her parents: Samuel and Jesse Shelton, her husband Dan Cross (2000), her siblings, Nellie, Pauline, Jewell, Lloyd, Olin, Royce and her granddaughter Erin Diane Land. She is survived her children and grandchildren: Jewell Louis Land, Kelly Ben Land, Dan Benners Cross, Jr. and his wife, Dawn Marie, Dan Benners Cross, III, Jonathan Caleb Cross, Ariel Chloe Cross, her sister Jewell Land of Magnolia, Texas along with other family members and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, January 1, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Father's House Church, 9222 South Harvard, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Sonlight Chapel, 128 W. Kelly, Center Point, Texas. Reverend Gene Boulware and Dan Cross will officiate. Pallbearers are: Jonathon Cross, Ben Cross, David Boulware, Stephen Boulware, Gary Boulware, Lance Shelton. Honorary pallbearer is: Kelly Land. Interment will follow at Center Point Cemetery in Center Point, Texas. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
