Molly Ann Hills, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the age of 84. She was born on March 7, 1940, in Tucson, Arizona, to John Henry and Mary Belle (Collins) Daniels. Ann was a woman of grace and quiet strength, known for her kindness, devotion to her family, and her many acts of service to others.
Ann spent her childhood in California and graduated from Santa Ana High School. She was a woman who found joy in the simple things in life; whether it was sharing a meal of tacos with her loved ones, crocheting beautiful handmade gifts, or tending to her garden. Her love for life was evident in everything she did, and her sweet nature made her a beloved figure in her community.
Ann was devoted to her family and was always there to support them in any way she could. She had a special way of making others feel cared for, from ensuring everyone had their seatbelts fastened before starting the car to volunteering at Meals on Wheels for over 30 years. Ann was a fixture at River Oaks Christian Church in Jenks, where she attended for over 15 years, building close relationships with her church family.
In addition to her family and church, Ann had a passion for collecting Tupperware and purchasing Avon products. Her hobbies were simple, yet meaningful, and she cherished the connections they fostered with others.
Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 40 years, John Hills, who passed away in 2017; her parents, John Henry and Mary Belle Daniels; and her siblings: JD, Gene, Lee, and Lill. She is survived by her son, Joshua Hills; daughter, Mary Ann Judkins Shupe; her brother, Bob Daniels and wife Lorna; sisters Belle Hartsock and Iva Dinkins; sister-in-law JoAnn Daniels; granddaughters Caitlin Baum, Jenny Lane, Mecca Grandle, and grandson Jared Goodwin; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.
