Minnie Lue (Cothran) Rogers entered the gates of heaven on March 15, 2020. Minnie was born on November 15, 1938 in Hartman, AR to Emmett Cothran and Mary (Shirley) Cothran, and later her Step-Mother Judean Cothran.
In addition to loving and spending time with her family, Minnie enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and singing. Minnie was once known around town as “Minnie HA-HA” because she was always happy and laughing cutting up and having fun. She was the best mother and friend she will be dearly missed by many.
She is preceded by her parents, brothers Silas Cothran, Emmett Cothran Jr., Tommy Cothran, Michael Cothran, and Doyle Cothran. Sisters Helen Belcher & Virgie (Tagie) Crumb and two Grandsons Anthony Strozier & Hoot Strozier.
Those left to cherish her memory include children David Freeman and family from Greenwood, AR. Charlotte Smiley and family from Greenwood, AR, April Fox and family from Sapulpa, OK, brother Randy Cothran and family of Hunnington, AR, sisters Virginia (Sue) Stanberry and family of Ozark, AR, Judy Kay Dial and family of Springdale, AR along with 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 23, 2020, at Bright Morning Farm (5802 S. 145th West Ave) Sand Springs, OK From 11:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
