Mildred Thompson

Mildred Thompson Mildred Thompson, a resident of Welty, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 at the age of 85. She was born November 24, 1925 to Thomas and Sally (Proctor) Thompson in Welty, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Sally Thompson; brothers, Benson, Sherman and Norman Thompson; sisters, Anna and Nema Thompson. Survivors include her nephew, Osceola Thompson of Welty; great-nephew, Gary Thompson of Shawnee; great-niece of Sherry Thompson of Henryetta and other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 28, 2011 at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta with Reverend Nelson Harjo officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Grant Chapel Cemetery in Welty under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta.
