Mildred Francis Green

Mildred Francis (Cole) Green age 93 passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014 at St. John Medical Center in Owasso, Oklahoma.

Mildred was born June 26, 1921 in Pleasant Plains, Illinois to William Andy Cole and Inous Coffee. Mildred married Darrell Gordon Green on November 24, 1951 in Las Vegas, NV. She was a dedicated homemaker. Mildred liked to crochet and cook. She also enjoyed making storybook dolls and stuffed animals.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents: William and Inous Cole, her loving husband, Darrell Gordon Green, her daughter, Kathy Colleen Green and her siblings James Cole, William Cole, Helen Schmidt, June Carter, and Monte Cole.

She is survived by her son: Billy Gene DeMoss, her daughters, Bonnie Ruth Flynn and Jo Ann Green, her sister, Audrey Lee Crespin. Mildred had five grandchildren: Billy Randal Flynn, Sherlyn Ranae Flynn, Darrell Lee DeMoss, Cynthia Ann Green and Vicky Jo Wolfe along with six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.

Pallbearers are: Darrell DeMoss, Dalton DeMoss, Billy Flynn, Billy Flynn, Jr., Kelly Ray, and Bo Carter.

Visitation will be Wednesday July 30, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00p.m. at Schaudt’s Funeral Service Chapel.

Funeral services are 10:00am Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Schaudt’s Funeral Service Chapel, 719 E. 141st, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Reverend Gary Volz will officiate. Interment will follow at South Heights Cemetery, Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
