Michael Wade Duncan passed away with loving family by his side on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at the age of 63 years. Michael was born on May 27, 1958 in Alice, TX. to his parents, Milton and Geraldine (Crider) Duncan. He graduated from Alice High School in 1976 and began an impressive forty year career in the Oilfield industry ,President of Great Plains Oilfield Tools, along with many more titles and accomplishments in the oilfield industry.
Michael had a special love of music and was an accomplished songwriter, having written over twenty produced titles. He had a passion for golf and bull riding in his younger years. He will be remembered as a soft hearted likable guy, where family , friends and Christian values came first.
He met the love of his life, Gena Sprague. They were married on August 17, 2019 in Chandler.
He is preceded in death by father, Milton Duncan; mother, Geraldine (Crider) Duncan brothers, James Matthew Duncan (infant), Wesley Ray Duncan II.
Michael leaves many loving memories with his family: his wife; Gena Duncan of Chandler, Oklahoma his daughter; Brandi Duncan of Frisco Texas, his sons; Landon Duncan of Sheridan, Oregon, Logan Duncan of Yukon, Oklahoma, Joshua Tinsley of Chandler, Oklahoma, Zachary Tinsley of Chandler, Oklahoma, his daughter; Jaden Schmidt and son -in-law Caleb Schmidt of Chandler, Oklahoma, his grand daughters; Brooklynn Schmidt and Madalynn Williams both of Chandler Oklahoma, his brothers; Bobby Duncan of Fort Worth, Texas and William Keith Duncan of San Antonio, Texas along with many other loving relatives and a host of friends.
A private local family service will be held to honor Michael Duncan.
A public Celebration of Life will honor Michael Wade at a later date in his home-town of Corpus Christi Texas.
Memorial Donations can be made to the Michael Wade Duncan Memorial Fund, under Gena Duncan's name, contributions can be made at any BancFirst location.
