Michael Stanley Gordon

Michael Stanley Gordon died August 7, 2020, at the age of 64.

Mike was born September 30, 1955, in Oklahoma City, OK. He leaves behind his wife, Linda Gordon, whom he married May 30, 2002, in Broken Arrow, OK.

Mike served in the army for 12 years, becoming a Major after passing 9 military officer tests. Following his time in the military, he earned his Masters in Social Studies. He then worked for 29 years as a History teacher for Broken Arrow Public Schools, retiring August 1, 2020. Mike loved watching baseball and was an avid OU and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He was a man of conviction with a passion for history and reading. Mike will be remembered for his eagerness to learn and thirst for knowledge.

Mike leaves many loving memories to be cherished by his wife, Linda Gordon; sister, Jan Lane and her son, Dan Lane; his three sons; Bryn (Victoria) Gordon, Austin (Monica) McCann, Trevor McCann; and grandson, Declan McCann as well as many other loving relatives and a host of friends. Michael will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel, 719 East 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma, with Chaplain Cathy Haguewood officiating.
