Michael David Parham of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died on January 16, 2024. He was 37 years old.
One of Michael's favorite sayings was, "I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world as on what needs to be changed in me and my attitudes." He lived that philosophy. That's the kind of guy he was.
Michael was born in Tulsa on September 27, 1986. He graduated from East Central High School before studying welding at Tulsa Welding School so that he could fabricate custom parts for his car, which he loved. He proudly worked as a welder at Valmont Industries and at Wedlake Enclosure Systems, where he thoroughly enjoyed being able to practice his craft.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jim Parham and Curtis Richardson, and his maternal grandmother, Ila Richardson. He is survived by his father, Wayne Parham, his mother Shelley Lombardo, his brother Edward Parham and his sisters, Allison, Angelina and Caitlin Lombardo, Blake and Halle Johnson and Hayden Grogan. He is also survived by his uncle Steven Parham, aunts Susy Flaming and Sharon Robinson, step-father Mark Lombardo and step-mother, Kelly Parham, and by his maternal step-grandmother Billie Lou Richardson and his paternal grandmother, Annette Parham.
Michael left too soon. He is sorely missed.
We will celebrate his life at New Haven United Methodist Church in Tulsa on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 2:00pm.
