Michael Joseph Callahan, 63, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away January 31, 2017 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Michael was born in Miami, Florida on December 11, 1953, to Audrey Marie (King) Callahan and William Hagan Callahan.
After completing high school, Michael joined the U.S. Marine Corp. and served his country honorably during the Vietnam War. He married Beulah M. Callahan, and they had two children. He worked as a industrial painter for many years. His most cherished times were spent fishing, playing with his grandchildren, collecting baseball cards, and making people laugh brought him a lot of joy. He always had a smile on his face and will be remembered for wanting everyone to be happy.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents; William and Audrey Callahan, wife; Beulah Callahan.
Michael is survived by children; Randy Joe Callahan and Michael Joseph Callahan II, (Michael's sister) Heather Stout, brothers; Cliff Callahan, his wife Karon and their children; McCallum, Kenna,and Courtney, Charlie Callahan and his sons; Colby and Eric, Billy Callahan, grandchildren; Avery and Elijah Callahan, and other loving friends and family.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Schaudt's Funeral Chapel. Pastor Gary Volz will officiate.
